Fresh from the rocking success of Bollywood masala hit Chennai Express, Shah Rukh revealed to a boisterous crowd in Pune, where he handed over keys to the first five owners of the KTM Duke 390, that he had to wait 45 years to experience the thrill of biking.

I had to wait 45 years to ride bikes because my mother and later my wife never thought I could do it. Even now people find it hard to believe that I ride the bike, but I do. Now I am trying to provide everything which I did not have in my childhood to my children,” he said.

Shah Rukh regaled the audience with his now-famous ‘lungi’ dance from Chennai Express even as he skipped questions about his favourite movie role and heroine.
He focused on bikes and said that he visited Bajaj's Chakan plant and was impressed by it. He said that he would love to do a movie featuring the Duke 390 and that he would be speaking to Rajiv Bajaj about it.
