PHOTOS: Ducati's 'most beautiful bike'

Ducati has unveiled the Monster 1200 at the EICMA show and the bike has been voted as the most beautiful bike at the motorcycle event.

The Monster 1200 is the flagship motorcycle in the Monster series and competes with the Kawasaki Z1000 and the KTM 1290 Super Duke R.

The Ducati Monster 1200 borrows its engine from the Multistrada and Diavel. The 1200cc motor is an air and oil-cooled unit, producing 135 BHP of power and 118 Nm of torque.

There are two models on offer, the Monster 1200 and the Monster 1200 S. The latter gets higher output with 145 BHP and 124 Nm.

The Ducati Monster 1200 comes with ride-by-wire throttle system, slipper clutch, 9MP ABS, traction control system and a full TFT instrument cluster.

The bike weighs 182 kgs and comes with a 17.5-litre fuel tank.

The Ducati Monster 1200 looks unmistakably a Monster with its round headlight, fat tyres, single sided swingarm, twin exhausts and a large fuel tank.

It uses a steel trellis frame and features twin LEDs at the front.

Ducati will launch the Monster 1200 in India next year, bringing the bike via the CBU route.
