Woof! Have you met Divina?

Padma Lakshmi brought home an adorable puppy named Divina.

Sharing the news with her followers on Instagram, she wrote: 'I've never been much of an animal person.

'In fact I've never even had a pet! In my whole damn life! To be honest, I was scared of most dogs.

'But when you have an only child who hasn't seen her friends or been to school for months and then was homeschooled so her mom could be in the "Top Chef bubble", you adapt and change.

'Krishna has always wanted a dog. She has *begged* for a dog since she was a toddler.'

So, in secret she went to an animal shelter in her neighbourhood and returned with this cute fur baby.

'She didn't smell (that much), and she didn't bite and she didn't even really bark. She just looked up at me with these big black marble eyes,' writes Padma.
