There are different ways to grab attention at a fashion week.
For one, you could have great clothes that are bold, original, wearable, make a statement.
Else get a Bollywood celebrity to strut his (or her) stuff on the catwalk.
Yet another alternative -- get one the world's best batsmen to make a guest appearance on the ramp.
Today, we saw alternative number four. Get a celeb with a hot bod to wear body art and a little something else too, as Tania Zaetta (remember her in Salaam Namaste and Bunty Aur Babli? She also co-hosts Who Dares Win on AXN) did at the Neeta Bharghava show.
Tania sported a bikini top and hot pants and her body was embellished with black and gold floral prints in oil. He navel was camouflaged with a splash of red.
Do fashion shows need to resort to such gimmicks to gain attention? Or should they just concentrate on creating great clothes? Do tell us what you think.
