When Captain Rohit Bhasin was reunited with his playschool teacher after thirty years, she had tears in her eyes. But there's more to the story...
Once in a while, the Internet surprises you with a story that will make you go aww.
Nearly thirty years ago, Sudha Satyan, a playschool teacher asked a three-year-old boy in her class to introduce himself.
'Captain' Rohan Bhasin,' the little boy -- who happened to be the son of Air India's third female pilot Nivedita Bhasin -- is said to have replied.
On March 26 when Satyan sat on the Air India flight from New Delhi to Chicago, she heard the pilot announce his name.
The former teacher couldn't have been mistaken when she heard the confident voice on the PO echo the words: 'Captain Rohan Bhasin.'
Once she settled in her seat, Satyan requested the air hostess if she could meet the pilot.
And guess what? Captain Rohan Bhasin, the Air India pilot who was flying the aircraft was indeed her student!
The teacher had tears in her eyes when she saw her old student.
It was a reunion of sorts and what a pleasant one!
Rohan's mother Nivedita Bhasin took to Twitter to share the proud moment of reunion and the heartwarming story.
She posted two pictures of her son with the teacher and wrote: #WarmsTheCocklesOfMyHeart.
The picture and story has since gone viral.
What's interesting is Captain Rohan belongs to a family of pilots.
His grandfather Captain Jai Dev Bhasin was among the first seven pilots to become commanders in 1954.
Both Rohan's parents fly the Air India's Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
To add to the coincidence, his playschool teacher Satyan's husband was an engineer with Air India too.
