We'd asked you, dear readers to share your love stories with us.

Monisha Patil tells us how she met and fell in love with Balwant.

Monisha and Balwant Patil

Our story started in November 2011.

My husband Balwant Patil was working in CSEB and I was working as direct sales executive in LIC.

We came to know each other through a common group on Facebook.

I met him for the first time on February 10, 2012 at his residence at Durg as a client. Our first meeting was so impressive that we began to date.

During this time, my parents were looking for a suitor for me.

I was certain to make Patil my life partner.

I shared my thoughts with him and my parents too.

I proposed marriage to him first.

In April he came to my residence with his mother to meet me. I was rejected. We decided to try again but we were prepared for the worst.

Though we belonged to same religion and caste, it took us three years to convince our parents for marriage.

These three years were very painful -- they were filled with tears and tension.

Our relationship was on the verge of breaking up many times. But we struggled and survived all the time.

We got married on May 21, 2015 and the place I saw him firstly is my home now.
