Love him or hate him but you cannot ignore the dimpled smile of the young Congress leader. Vote for the best RaGa smile :-)
The stark difference between India's two largest political parties is evident in their campaign hoardings.
Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi's face is stern.
He seems upset with the state of the nation and intends to get down to business as soon as he's elected.
Modi's no-nonsense look suggests that there's nothing to celebrate till the Congress party is brought to its knees.
The ruling party, on the other hand, has made its young leader, Rahul Gandhi, the face of their campaign.
Gandhi stands in stark contrast with Narendra Modi.
For one, he is good 20 years younger than Modi and unlike him doesn't mind smiling.
Why should he?
Not only does his dimpled smile take a few years off his face (he is 43) but it also makes him seem approachable.
To the stern school principal-like Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi seems like the perfect foil, the devilish cheeky boy who you want to befriend... or possibly take home to your parents!
So here we have the disarming smiles of Rahul Gandhi :-)
Don't forget to vote for each at the bottom of every page!
The candid smile
This one's reserved for sis dearest, Priyanka Gandhi, who looks on adoringly at her brother!

The older brother smile

Easy-going, friendly and almost a chuckle -- this is the kind of smile that makes you want to tuck at his kurta and tell him what mischief you've been up to at school ;-)
Would you not too?

The polite business-like smile

There are those who will want to get rid of crow's feet. And there are those who make it look good.
No points for guessing which one of the two Rahul is.
Wouldn't you agree?

The warm considerate smile

What is the one thing that you need to really reach out to the young?
A genuine smile that suggests you care. Exhibit A, above!
Do you agree?

The people's prince smile

The trouble with being born with a silver spoon is you have to work doubly hard to make the aam janta believe you care.
Over the years, Rahul Gandhi has made more than a few efforts to be seen as a 'people's prince'.
Does his smile make the cut?

What do you call a single, handsome man in a women's college?
One lucky fellow!
What say you?

Here's the thing: if you're a public figure, you will find some aunty wanting to take a picture with you.
The key is to keep smiling and make them feel you don't mind it so much :-)
Does he get your vote?

I-am-your-leader smile

Now, that's the kind of smile photographers wait for, the kind that is calculated and used for dramatic effect.
Does Rahul achieve that effect in this shot?
Take the poll below and tell us!

The goofy smile

Rahul Gandhi is probably India's answer to George W Bush.
While RaGaisms may not be as legendary as Bushisms (yet), our young leader does have his foot-in-mouth moments.
So what do you do when you say the darndest thing?
You put on your best smile and hope no one's noticed!
Did you?

Don't-forget-to-vote-for-me smile
