The 39-year-old actress who was seen unveiling celebrity makeup artist Marvie Ann Beck's new salon 'Naturals Marvie Lounge' in Mumbai, said, "We are helpless without our makeup artists, hairstylists, our managers, and fashion designers. I have to say that what we are is because they run the show."
The wife of actor Arbaaz Khan, who is known for her unmatchable style, also credited make-up artists, like Marvie, for helping them in being what they are in front of the camera.

RiRi splashes $22m for beach villa

Rihanna has bought a villa for 22 million dollars in her native place, Barbados in order to spend more time with her family.
According to a source, the 25-year-old star bought the house after renting it for her family the previous year, the New York Post reported.
The Umbrella hit-maker bought the villa, as she likes spending time with her family when she returns every year for the holidays.
The source added that she plans to spend more time in Barbados with her mother, Monica Braithwaite and grandfather, Lionel Braithwaite.
The 25-year-old singer purchased the 10,000 square-foot villa near the beach and close to the famous five-star Sandy Lane Hotel.
The villa boasts five bedrooms and baths, grand lobby with spiral staircase, pool, private gym and 24-hour security service operated by the Sandy Lane Hotel staff.

Miley Cyrus has revealed the steps to excel her 'twerk'.
The 20-year old daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus shared the secret with Taran Killam on her show Saturday Night Live and explained that "it's more about the ankles", not the hips, ABC News reported.
Killiam said that the Wrecking Ball singer is "reaching for that icon status, but she's fully in control".
Cyrus had shocked the audiences at the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 when she started twerking and stroking Robin Thicke's crotch with an oversized foam finger, during their performance.
While on Miley, the singer who recently has dumped her former fiance Liam Hemsworth, donated his clothes in a charity shop, according to reports.
The 20-year-old singer has given away the clothes to a local store called Out of the Closet that benefits HIV positive people, the Daily Star reported.
A source has revealed that the We Can't Stop hitmaker gave away two cashmere sweaters, Nike workout gear, a James Perse sweatshirt, Hugo Boss trousers and even underwear.
Cyrus had earlier confirmed the news of her split with the Hunger Games actor, while Hemsworth was spotted moving out of her 2.5 million pound LA mansion.

Nicole Scherzinger struggles to answer questions on Malala

Nicole Scherzinger struggled to answer a reporter's question on the brave Pakistani schoolgirl, Malala, who was shot in the head by the Taliban.
During the same award ceremony, where Malala won the Teenager of Courage award, the 35-year-old singer was lost for words when asked by a reporter to comment on the braveness shown by the 16-year-old girl, the Daily Express reported.
The former 'Pussycat Doll' said that she didn't know the story that well and after a good amount of pause added that she thought Malala was "amazing, a righteous, empowering, powerful woman."
Malala, was voted by thousands of people after she stood up to terrorists for Pakistani girls' rights to be educated, received the award via a video link from David Beckham.

Cara Delevingne to star in film on Amanda Knox?

Supermodel Cara Delevingne has reportedly landed a role in the upcoming Amanda Knox trial movie, The Face of an Angel.
However, the 21-year-old model would not be playing Knox, the American woman who, along with her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, were found guilty of the murder of Meredith Kercher in Italy in 2009, reported MTV news.
Kercher's stabbed body was found in 2007 at the home she and Knox, now 26, shared. But the convictions were overturned in 2011 and a retrial is now under way in Florence.
The movie directed by Michael Winterbottom, follows a troubled filmmaker researching the murder trial in Italy and Delevingne has been roped in for a crucial role.
"It doesn't look like Cara will be playing Foxy Knoxy but she will have a major role, as the director wants to focus on events surrounding the trial and the people whose lives have been affected by it," a source said.
"Getting Cara is a real coup for the film but is also brilliant for her career. It proves she's an in-demand actress and will help to boost her career Stateside," the source added.
Rush star Daniel Bruhl plays the lead character, while actor Colin Firth is also rumored to have some involvement.
While on Cara Delevingne, the supermodel has reportedly been bathing in oats in a desperate effort to cure her troubled skin.
The 21-year-old model suffers from psoriasis, an auto-immune disease in which scabs appears on the skin, reported Daily Star.
"Psoriasis is the bane of her life and it's been worse than ever in Rio. She's so desperate she'll try pretty much anything now," a source said.
"One of her model pals has recommended applying an oat paste, as well as bathing in oats, to relieve her itchy skin and reduce some redness," the source added.
Earlier this year, Delevingne got a skin advice from fashion diva Kate Moss that helped her deal with a skin problem before an important show.

Model-actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley says fashion industry has changed over the years and the supermodels are now expected to have a personality of their own.
The 26-year-old Transformers: Dark of the Moon actress, who is dating actor Jason Statham, feels that nowadays models are supposed to hold opinions about various issues, reported Daily Telegraph.
"Everybody wants to know the models. There's more engagement... You no longer have this one-dimensional image. It's more expected now for supermodels to be smart, to have opinions, to have a personality," Rosie said.
The model, who has been a popular face in the industry for several years said, during her initial days an agent had asked her to constrict her diet to only one piece of sushi a day.

Doc notes confirm Marilyn Monroe underwent cosmetic surgery

A physician's notes on Marilyn Monroe has confirmed that she underwent a cosmetic surgery.
Hollywood plastic surgeon Michael Gurdin's notes also include references to a 1950 cartilage implant in Monroe's chin, which the doctor observed to have slowly begun to dissolve, China Daily reported.
The notes, which were written by Hollywood plastic surgeon Michael Gurdin and a set of the Some Like It Hot star's X rays will be up for an auction in November.
The actress’s partial medical history documents are expected to fetch between $15,000-30000 at the Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills, California.
Martin Nolan, executive director of the auction house said that it was unexpected that Monroe had plastic surgery despite of the speculations, as everyone thought she was a natural beauty and didn't want to believe otherwise.

Kate Moss collaborates with Topshop again

Kate Moss has partnered up with British retailer Topshop again to create a brand new clothing range for the brand.
The 39-year-old supermodel, who had teamed up with the label three and a half years ago, will introduce her new line in spring of 2014, the Mirror reported.
The owner of the high street fashion chain, Sir Philip Green, is hoping that the new clothing line will repeat the success of her first designs.
The Kate Moss Collection will hit 40 Topshop stores worldwide, and will be sold on the internet and on wholesale basis.
Moss added that she really missed being involved in the design process and working with the brand's team.

Former Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle is reportedly planning to launch her own range of baby clothes.
The 28-year-old singer, who announced in August that she was expecting a child, is believed to have held talks with some retailers, reported Daily Star.
"Nadine had a few meetings last month with retailers and they went very well. She'd like to get involved in the design, too," a source said.
"And if all goes well Nad also said she'd love to bring out a book about her pregnancy," the source added.

The Impossible singer, who shot to fame after winning The X Factor last year, met Lacey Banghard through a mutual friend and the brunette beauty has been overheard telling a friend about their night out together, reported Daily Star.
James and Lacey met through fellow X Factor star Rylan Clark, who also competed on Celebrity Big Brother last year with the model.
James, 25, has previously said he enjoys the attention he receives from women now that he is famous, and thinks his voice means he attracts more attractive girls.

Actor Hugh Jackman, who was groomed as a child to conceal his emotions, feels that an affectionate man can also be masculine.
The 44-year-old actor, who grew up in Australia had always believed that real men do not show their feelings. But when he came to Italy he realised that being emotional does not challenge one's masculinity, reported Contactmusic.
"Growing up in Australia, my opinion of masculinity is that you don't show your feelings. A real man doesn't cry. My father is classic English - emotionally shut down -- although in the past 10 years, he seems to have cried at every family reunion," Jackman said.
"The real measure of a man is to be you. It's OK to show emotion. After traveling to Italy I've learnt that I prefer their way. There, men can show emotion; they can be affectionate and still be masculine," he added.
The actor is married to 57-year-old actress Deborra-Lee Furness, with whom he has two children, Oscar and Ava.

Salman Khan, who recently met up with Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo and Sanjana Jon to give his support to the 'Girl Child, Women Empowerment' cause, has revealed that he would like to have a baby girl if he ever has a kid.
The Ready star said that he can't fathom how someone can kill a child even before it is born, as it is not about the awareness, but the mentality of the people.
The 47-year-old actor asserted that if someone kills the girl child, eventually there will be no mothers and sisters, and guys will have no women to marry.
Khan added that women play a huge role in everyone's lives.
Designer Jon and Culpo have been touring India to create awareness about female infanticide and women empowerment.

Manish Malhotra's show raises funds for Indian literacy drive

Celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra's unique show, which was graced by actresses Bipasha Basu and Esha Gupta, raised over 300,000 pounds here for Indian education charity 'Pratham'.
The theme for this year's ARTiculate Ball, organised in London annually by Pratham's UK chapter, was '100 Years of Indian Cinema'.
Malhotra through his collection took the audience through the black and white era of Mughal-e-Azam and Awara to the most current trends in Bollywood.
"When a charity wants to work with you to spread awareness about such an important cause like education, as a privileged citizen who has been well-educated you can't help but want to give the same opportunity to talented young children who have been deprived to get the same opportunities as we have has access to.
"I hope my contribution tonight will make more celebrities want to be part of the cause," said the designer at the fundraiser.
Penchant for his quintessential Indian designs, Malhotra's cinematic catwalk was packed with a riot of Indian hues.
"Manish's designs, very simply, make you feel like a woman and it is always a pleasure to walk the ramp in one of his creations," said Basu.
"Pratham is a fantastic cause -- being the largest children's education NGO in India for the underprivileged it is empowering young children to have a better future. I am glad to be associated with them today and would love to show my support at future events too," she added.
Model-actress Gupta said, "Children are the future of our nation, our world – it is commendable that Pratham is doing such good work for the children that are usually deprived of opportunities."
Proceeds from ticket sales for the event and an exclusive live auction were intended for the Pratham Institute, which focuses on providing young people with the employability skills needed to address India's growing need for skilled manpower.
"The key is access. The need for skilled workers in a rising economy is well known. That is where Pratham hopes to fill the gap," said co-founder and CEO Madhav Chavan.
