SNEAK PEEK: India's top designers all set to create magic

We bring you a preview of what you can expect at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour.

Each year, the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour travels across major cities in India to showcase the works of some of the country's best-known fashion designers.

Spanning across September through November, the tour will go through Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Gurgaon.

At a press conference held in Mumbai, we got a sneak peek into just what we can expect from the tour in the months to come.

Hot off the New York Fashion Week runway, Falguni and Shane Peacock are set to show their latest line at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour that seems to be inspired by the rose. Here they are with their muse Sameera Reddy in an outfit from their collection.

Sameera Reddy strikes a pose in this rather risque number by designer duo who are known for their very Avant Garde and futuristic fashion sensibilities.

Tarun Tahiliani sought solace in the glimmers of sunrise as saffron met exuberant outbursts of fiery hues and midnight shades. Tahiliani is seen here with the rarely spotted Carol Gracias (L) and Mehr Rampal.

Pankaj and Nidhi's collection Roses are blue seeks to reinterpret the flower in shades of blue. Thus you have pixelated roses in full bloom, oversized and in graphic glory in this outfit modelled by Neha Dhupia.

The style divas of the '20s and '30s were the source of inspiration for Neeta Lulla who created a stunning line that promises to be feminine and glamorous at the same time. Seen here is Sophie Choudry in an elegant pink number.

Wendell Rodricks paid tribute to the American composer Cole Porter in his latest line featuring hot neon shades, offering, what seems like a resortwear line. Seen here with him is actress Evelyn Sharma.

Evelyn Sharma looked stunning as always as she struck a pose for the cameras.

Vikram Phadnis' muse Malaika Arora Khan showed one of his elegant saris and looked every bit as desirable as she does in a pair of hotpants.

Master couturier JJ Valaya's collection Maharaja of Madrid derives influences from the cultures of Spain and India.

The designer explores the apparent contradictions in the sartorial histories of the two countries and is set to present a collection of ready-to-wear outfits.

Gaviin Miguel's collection is called Warriors of Heaven on Earth. Dipannita Sharma modelled this opulent evening gown from the line.

Suneet Varma sought inspiration from his mother's poetry and created this outfit that model Sanea Sheikh wore during the preview.

Rocky S seems to have recycled the line he showed at Lakme Fashion week that seeks to 'recreate the aura of the dark medieval age of fashion' (See his LFW line here). Seen here are models Binal Trivedi, Pia Trivedi, Mashoom Singha, Shamita Singha and Aanchal Kumar in the designer's oufits.
