People magazine has returned with its annual list of best-dressed women. Here are the top ten ladies who are making heads turn.
Each year, People magazine releases its annual list of the best-dressed women in the world. This year too, the magazine's editors and doff their hats to the women who made a style statement each time they stepped out into public view.
We start out with the Scandal star Kerry Washington who was voted the best-dressed celebrity. Washington told the magazine that the secret to her impeccable style was her ability to find 'the middle ground. "It's not dressing like a nun and it's also not dressing like I'm in a swimsuit competition," she told the magazine.

Image: Jennifer LawrenceThe Silver Linings Playbook star has been making all the right moves in the showbiz -- be it selecting her movies or her red carpet outfits. Jennifer Lawrence was named The High Fashionista for her 'refreshing fearlessness with her style'.
"She chooses pieces with great embellishments and detail, but she knows just when to show restraint so the details don't go overboard," the magazine wrote.
Emma Stone

The Spiderman star has three movies lined up for release in 2014 including a Woody Allen project.
Nicole Richie

Channing Tatum's lovely dancer-actress wife also received a nod for her pregnancy wardrobe selection.

What I see with other celebrities is that they're either completely non-maternity or completely maternity, and it doesn't work all the time. I think mixing and matching is a great way to go," Rosie Pope of Rosie Pope Maternity who nominated her for the list wrote in People.

"She is not afraid to dress to impress showing just a bit of skin here and there, which has the designers always coming back for more," the magazine wrote.
