The United States of America is one of the major study destinations for the students across the globe.

A good number of world’s best universities are in the US.

One needs good preparation to study in the US.

The preparation starts from finding the best university and course, confirming the admission to getting the visa.

Application

The application process starts 12 to 18 months before you plan to begin studying in the US.

Fill up the application form between August and October.

Deadline

The application submission usually closes by the end of February.

However, it is always better to apply beforehand in order to avoid last minute rush.

Admission results

The final admission results will be out between March and May. The universities notify whether you have been selected or not by May.

US visa cycle

Students can apply within 120 days from the start date of I-20 and can travel within 30 days from the start date of I-20.
