We'd asked you, dear readers, to tell us about your father's best advice to you.
Rediff reader Prashant Panwalkar from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh shares his story.
I used to be an academically bright student.
But after every exam, my father would ask me, 'pass ho jayega na?' (You will clear this exam, won't you?).
As a child, I could never understand why he said that.
Later on, when I grew up, I realised how important it is to clear every exam in life.
I have a son and daughter.
I teach my children the same lesson my father taught me.
