This Valentine's Day, skip the flowers and chocolates, mix up some fun with these romantic drinks instead.

Here are the recipes:

Candy Crush

Candy Crush

Ingredients

  • 60 ml tequila
  • 30 ml cranberry juice
  • 5 ml lime juice
  • 10 ml sugar syrup
  • A packet of popping candy
  • A cocktail shaker
  • Ice cubes

Method

  • In a cocktail shaker, add some ice cubes along with all the ingredients. Mix well.
  • Rim a margarita glass with popping candy.
  • Strain the contents of the shaker into the glass. Serve.

Strawberry and Basil Mocktail

Strawberry and Basil Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 45 ml strawberry puree
  • 10 ml sugar syrup
  • 5 ml lime juice
  • 5 to 6 basil leaves
  • Soda

Method

  • Pour strawberry puree in a tall glass.
  • Add basil leaves and muddle this mixture vigorously.
  • Add sugar syrup along with lime juice. Mix.
  • Top it up with soda and serve.
