In April 2026, a wave of new handsets is expected from brands like Oppo, Realme, Vivo, Xiaomi and OnePlus, each aiming to boost speed, screen quality, power endurance and imaging features across different price brackets.

Manufacturers are set to compete aggressively, highlighting upgraded chipsets, sharper panels, longer-lasting batteries and enhanced photography capabilities to attract buyers in multiple segments.

1. Realme 16

First up! Realme has officially announced that the Realme 16 is set to debut in India on April 2 at 12 pm. The handset is tipped to sport a 6.57-inch screen delivering peak brightness of up to 4,200 nits. Powering the device will be a sizeable 7,000 mAh battery, supported by 60W wired rapid charging.

2. Vivo V70 FE

Vivo is slated to unveil the V70 FE on April 2 at midday. The handset is rumoured to headline a 200MP main sensor, with a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel offering a 120 Hz refresh rate for fluid visuals. The device is likely to house a substantial 7,000 mAh battery with support for 90W wired rapid charging.

3. Redmi Note 15 SE

Xiaomi is preparing to roll out the Redmi Note 15 Special Edition on April 2. The handset has already been showcased in a Crimson Reserve shade, featuring a vegan leather back panel paired with a gold-finished chassis. The smartphone may sport a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen supporting a 120 Hz refresh rate.

The OnePlus Nord 6 is scheduled for a debut at 7 pm on April 7. The handset is believed to boast a 165Hz 1.5K AMOLED panel, while housing a massive 9,000 mAh battery.

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra does not yet have a confirmed release date, though it is widely thought to be coming some point in April. The handset shall perhaps feature a 6.82-inch Quad HD LTPO AMOLED panel. It is also would be probably equipped with a battery exceeding 6,000 mAh.
