She's helped you become the person you are today, guiding you through life, holding your hand lest you miss a step. She's a parent, but has at various times also fulfilled the role of teacher, sister and best friend.
And with Mother's Day falling this week on May 6, it is time to show your mother just what she means to you.
Of course we all know that 24 hours isn't enough to celebrate the love of the woman who has borne you and made you who you are.
But a special occasion like this serves as a gentle reminder lest we forget what she's done for us!
For Mother's Day, we're inviting our readers to send in 'Mommy and me' pics -- memorable moments captured on camera.
From the time she first held you in her arms after you were born, to a photograph of her seeing you off to college, it could be any setting, at any point in your life, anywhere.
All you have to do is make sure your mother and you feature in the pic and you can explain in a few lines why it's so special to you.
So dig through those piles of old albums you've stored away somewhere and pull out that special image! What better way to show your mum you care than re-living your memories
