We had asked you, dear readers to share your good and bad ATM experiences.

Ganesh Pillai, 37, from Trivandrum, Kerala was lucky. You might not be.

Want to know what happened with him?

Here's his story.

I was at an Axis Bank ATM.

I withdrew cash and noticed someone waiting for his turn to use the ATM.

I didn't want to waste much of his time, so I wanted to leave the ATM at the earliest.

But I'd left my card in the machine.

While I was about to leave, I saw the reflection of the ATM screen that displayed a message 'wanting to do another transaction'.

I immediately went back to the machine and got my card back. I was really happy.

But what surprised me was the other person's behaviour.

He -- the one standing outside for his turn to enter the ATM -- knew what the screen displayed but he chose to remain silent.

If I were in that person's place, I would have brought it to the concerned person's notice immediately because I know the pain of losing something in life, be it money or anything else that we love.
