We'd asked you, dear readers, to tell us how you plan to celebrate your leap year birthday.

Jamie D'souza was born on February 29, 2016 in Mumbai. He will be celebrating his first birthday this year.
Jamie's mother Sujata Reddy, 35 tells us why the family is looking forward to Saturday:

We were all excited when Jamie was born on a leap year.

Everyone already calculates his age in leap year terms.

But he is too small to know what a leap year is. Plus, we do celebrate his birthday every year, on Feb 28 or March 1.

The whole family keeps saying that it's his first birthday. His cake will say 'Jamie turns 1'

I'm sure this will confuse him... But it will have relevance in the long run.

We did not have a celebration as such on the first year of his birthday because we wanted to reserve a full family kind of a birthday party for his first leap year one...and we're doing that this year.

We've booked an entire restaurant for extended family and friends…

Rianne -- Jamie's 8 year old sister -- keeps trying to explain the concept of a leap year to him, but (it's of) no use yet.
