When the IPL 2022 mega-auction took place last weekend in Bengaluru, there were Nita Ambani and her son Akash Ambani at the Mumbai Indians table, Shah Rukh Khan's elder son Aryan was making his first public appearance since his nightmare last October, his sister Suhana was making her debut at an IPL auction. Also at their Kolkata Knight Riders table was Jahnvi Mehta, Juhi Chawla's daughter. Juhi, her husband Jai Mehta and Shah Rukh are KKR's co-owners.

Also in the room were many cricketing superstars like Anil Kumble (619 Test wickets) and Jonty Rhodes [5,935 ODI runs and mor airborne catches than Superman] (both at the King Punjab table), Sri Lanka legends Mahela Jayawardene (11,814 Test runs/12,650 ODI runs) at the MI table and Kumar Sangakkara (12,400 Test runs/14,234 ODI runs) at the Rajasthan Royals table.

In fact, at the Sunrisers Hyderbad table were a bowler who has taken more Test wickets than anyone else in cricketing history (Muttiah Muralitharan) and a batsman who scored more runs in one Test innings than anyone else in cricketing history (Brian Charles Lara).

But the television cameras and India's attention were transfixed by Kaviya Maran, the beautiful young woman at the Sunrisers Hyderabad table, raising the paddle to indicate her franchise's interest in a player, shaking her head when the bidding went over what SRH had budgeted for.

Kaviya's great granduncle Muthuvel Karunanidhi was Tamil Nadu's chief minister for five terms; her grandfather Murasoli Maran was a Cabinet minister in three governments at the Centre; her granduncle M K Stalin is Tamil Nadu's current chief minister; her dad Kalanithi Maran is chairman of the SUN TV group (2020-2021 revenues: ₹3,388.03 crore/Rs 33.88 billion).

At the auction, Kaviya -- whose mother Kaveri is a native of Coorg -- cut a stunning figure in a red pant-suit and minimal make up.

A constant sight during SRH games, Kaviya was first spotted on television during the 2018 IPL season.

Kaviya doesn't have a Twitter or Instagram account (at least not ones that we know of), but fans have been sharing pics that have gone viral.

Here's looking at some stunning pics of the hottest face at the IPL 2022 mega-auction.
