What: Saarang 2010, the annual cultural festival of IIT Madras will be held at the IIT Madras campus between January 21-25.

The Saarang Professional Shows will have
- Classical Nite on January 21 featuring legendary Carnatic singer Balamurali Krishna and Daksha Seth Dance Academy represented by Isha Sarvani.

The Light Music Show on January 24 will see Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy perform.

The World Music festival on January 25 will have performances by heavy metal bands Hammerfall (Sweden) and Skid Row (USA).
Apart from this there will also be 'Spotlight' events like Essence-Youth 'Summit', 'Ethos', 'Impact' which are aimed at engaging young minds in active discussions about issues of societal importance. 'Saarang Village' which is carefully designed with the objective of complementing the fest with a rustic appeal and showcase the ethnic crafts, cuisine and culture of rural India.
