I work for a global MNC.

While the entire nation was under a lockdown to tackle the spread of the virus, I was making the most of my time staying indoors with my family.

I have a global travel job and this was the perfect time to bond with the family.

Of course, my wife showed why she is our home minister managing almost everything alone all this while.

In the lockdown, early morning I'd help my wife cut vegetables and manage the household chores.

On the work front, I got acquainted with video conferencing apps like Microsoft Teams and Skype. Of course, some of the calls and meetings would go till midnight.

In the mornings, I would be woken up to sound of my mother's cellphone ringing, often a relative would call to check on us.

On some days, I could hear the music coming from the next villa's balcony.

I was in a completely different world far away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

I missed the travel, meeting customers and team members.

I also missed my weekend golf and cricket sessions.
