A look at some interesting moments from the 10-day fashion gala in New York.
The New York Fashion Week Spring 2017 just got over... but it's hard to get over it.
Well, blame it on the Internet.
High on fashion, there were so many interesting concepts, people and styles this season that simply left viewers awestruck.
Here are 12 interesting things that happened at this fashion extravaganza.
1. BIG is beautiful

Cheers to body diversity!
Size zero models, step aside. The plus-size girls are here to stay.
Breaking stereotypes, many designers, this time, had over-sized models sashaying down the runway in their latest collection.
One of them was American model Ashley Graham (left in the picture above) who walked at the fashion week for the second time.
Proudly walking out in a sexy swimsuit from brand Addition Elle, she totally impressed us with her confident gait.

American designer Christian Siriano too sent five plus-size models in his cool, chic ensembles down the ramp.
In the picture above, left, a model is seen showing off her curves in a two-slit gown.
The 30-year-old designer recently dressed eight attendees at Emmy Awards this year, irrespective of their age and shape.
2. History made in Hijab
Don't miss the headscarf or hijab that stole the show.

For the first time in the history of New York Fashion Week, traditional Muslim attire for women got an all new dimension.
Thanks to Indonesia-based designer Anniesa Hasibuan, who showed how modern silhouettes can be melded with culture.
From kimono's over long dresses, peplum tops over sleek skirts, pleated ball skirts, long overcoats and cropped jackets, she designed a stunning array of of metallic and pastel hued outfits in traditional Indonesian jacquard fabric.

The hijab -- that Muslim women wear on their head to hide it from the public -- has brewed a lot of controversies, both in remote and immediate past.
Now, we think, it's sure to break all barriers and help in refining humanity.
Well done Anniesa!
3. Glamour in graveyard

A graveyard in New York has been trending and how!
Two designers Tracy Reese and Simon Miller chose to turn the city's first non-sectarian cemetery, the New York Marble Cemetery into a runway at the fashion week.
It's interesting how Tracy Reese's glamorous girly show featured flower-strewn runway with 'real women' or non-professional models than the professional ones.
Quite creative!
4. Haute dog!

OMG! So much cuteness in just one frame.
These chic canines made for an utterly adorable show for pet couturier Anthony Rubio.
In an interview with T2Online, the designer mentioned, 'In my world, the humans are the accessories.'
He even styled the models in matching outfits with their pet pooches... and that made everyone go Aww!
5. It's a CARNIVAL

Look who brought circus to town!
It's none other than brand Tommy Hilfiger.
The brand not only debuted a capsule collection with Victoria's Secret model Gigi Hadid, but also hosted a party at the rented out pier in Manhattan's South Street Seaport neighbourhood.

The two-day carnival grabbed many spectators who lent an enthusiastic energy to the event.
From a 40-foot Ferris Wheel, arcade games to food stalls that sold lobster rolls, mozzarella sticks, hot dogs and cotton candy... name it, and it had all.
6. Fashion gone weird

It wasn't just weird, but WILD too!
Crazy hairstyles with acrylic wigs, vaseline splattered across the hair and running down the model's faces, grunge make-up, two-sided shoes, sheer tops for men -- brands Gypsy Sport and Hood by Air's collection were creative highpoints at the fashion week.
7. Style got sporty

Designers Raquel Allegra and Assembly New York together were game for some fun with fashion.
Blending sports with style, the designers recruited players from the Downtown Girls Basketball team who donned outfits from both the brands.
While Raquel Allegra's 'uniforms' were flowy and feminine, Assembly New York showed some supremely athletic attires.
8. Oh Jeezy!

Models fainted in the searing heat. A few tripped over in the high heels while walking on the runway. Guests got trapped in the buses arranged for them for over an hour.
So much chaos at Kanye West's latest fashion show for brand Yeezy in collaboration with Adidas.
Strange enough, the rapper chose to hold the show at an abandoned smallpox hospital at Roosevelt Island.

Acid attack survivor Reshma Qureshi (read her success story, here) created waves at New York Fashion Week and how.
She modelled in a creation inspired by tribal art from designer Archana Kochhar's new collection.
Reshma, cheers to your courage! You are a true rockstar.
10. Killer Kim

Kim needs to spare all BIG time.
This metallic appearance might have garnered her much attention from her fans and on social media, but trust, it looked BIZARRE.
After several fashion failures, she yet again managed to make another disaster.
Think, she needs to change her stylist right now.
11. Careful, dear Bella

Ouch! This 19-year-old hottie Bella Hadid suffered an embarrassing fall on the catwalk at Michael Kors Spring 2017 fashion show.
She lost her footing and had a painful tumble right in front of the photographer's pit. But then she picked herself up and gracefully continued with the show.
Unfortunately the mishap became an Internet sensation.
12. Bowled over by Bollywood

Bollywood celebs Priyanka Chopra, left, Sunny Leone, centre, and Jacqueline Fernandez made headlines with their presence at the fashion week.
While Piggy Chops attended the Thakoon show, Sunny Leone became the first B'town actor to walk at New York Fashion Week. She turned muse for designer Archana Kochhar.
Jacqueline Fernandez, the brand ambassador for TRESemme in India, made a splash by attending shows by fashion giants like Hugo Boss, Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta.
