Ahead of Amit Aggarwal's show, Rediff.com's Hitesh Harisinghani went backstage and captured these candid shots.

It's hard to describe the hard work, creativity and patience that goes in to make a show successful.

Besides the stunning creations, models and designers owe a lot to make-up artists and hair stylists.

These pictures will tell you what it takes to make these models so beautiful on the ramp.

IMAGE: There is so much going on in this picture. A crew member applies a hair spray as another styles the model's hair. The model co-operates and uses a mask to protect her face.
With back to back shows, this is perhaps the only time the model gets to relax and the earphones help them do that -- cut away from the clutter.

IMAGE: Model Janvi Deora sits still and lets the make-up artist paint her face.

IMAGE: Dipti Sharma gets her face wiped before the artist can work her magic on it.

IMAGE: Surelee Joseph lets her stylist work the details on her hair.

IMAGE: Anita Kumar rushes in just in time.

IMAGE: Reha Sukheja has to wait for her turn, her hands are full too.

IMAGE: The green room is the perfect place to tell a story.
Shweta Dolli and Anita Kumar listen to Candice Pinto's (not in the picture) intense conversation.

IMAGE: Rachel Bayros combs her hair before the hair dresser takes over :)

IMAGE: Psst! Shweta Dolli has some important news to share.

IMAGE: And amidst all the chaos, there are some unalloyed moments of joy. #Cute!
