Nashpreet, Model

Nashpreet

What do you do?

I am a model.

What are you wearing?

My dress is a Urvashi Joneja design. She had a show on the Day 2 of LFW.

What does fashion mean to you?

Well, I'm not a very fashionable person; I like to be comfortable. So, anything comfortable as well as looks good, is fashion to me.

Where are you from?

I am from Mumbai. My mom and dad are from Bihar. I was born in West Bengal and then brought up in Mumbai.

What are you wearing?

Well, I didn't think about it. I just picked it up and put this together before I left home :)

It's casual wear, which I styled with boots from Steve Madden.

I'm wearing like ribbed white shorts from H&M and an off-shoulder black top from Zara.

I like wearing black a lot.

My dad got this bag for me.

What is fashion to you?

Fashion is something which makes you feel comfortable. I wouldn't choose fashion over comfort.

I like wearing things which I am comfortable in.

Gabriella Demetriades, Designer from Cape Town, South Africa.

I have made Mumbai my home for nine years now; I just love the city.

What are you wearing?

I am wearing Burberry boots, Stella McCartney pants and a top and jacket from my own label called Deme.

What is fashion to you?

Fashion is a very personal thing. I think it's a feeling. It's your own sense of experimentation.

I'd like to think that there are no rules when it comes to fashion. But I guess there are a lot of rules that are put on us.

I just like to have fun with it.
