Designer Sanjay Garg brought the curtains down on Day One of Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2017 at the Royal Opera House, Mumbai.

His latest collection, Angels or Cloud People was a celebration of craftmanship and textiles as models walked down the ramp dressed in gorgeous Indian weaves.

Presenting few glimpses of the stunning show.

The scalloped clouds were made in handcrafted chikankari on Bengal mul, zardozi and hand-woven brocade.

Models step down among the audience to showcase the collection. The designer has been working on this collection for the past 18-20 months and hopes to breathe new life into chikankari work.

Garg's designs represented an ethnic feel. Even a simple black kurta like this one looked elegant.
