Over the years, Famous Studios in Mumbai may have hosted many celebrity events. But Tuesday night was special.
It was the curtain raiser of one of India's biggest fashion weeks.
And it was pure magic to simply watch the gorgeous Katrina Kaif open Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019.
Ditching the traditional red and maroon, the 36 year old actor looked bewitching in an emerald green lehenga as she portrayed the modern Indian bride for Manish Malhotra's 'Maahrumysha' collection.

Jaw dropping! Katrina made a dashing entry flaunting her washboard abs in a velvet emerald green bridal lehenga with gold floral embroidery all over.
The choli featured a plunging neckline, accentuating her curves and toned abs. With her hair styled in soft curls and smokey eye makeup, the showstopper completed the look with a beaded necklace, a statement ring and earrings.

The designer was mighty pleased to introduce his showstopping beauty.
The line Maahrumysha featured lehengas and bandhgalas for the modern Indian bride and groom.
The colour palette featured fabrics in sorbet hues laced with rich embroidery.
The shiny gowns were designed to make heads turn.
And of course, there was the signature bling element!
