It's a fact that fashion weeks can be very hectic for models.

Ever wondered how they survive the stress and hunger pangs? Model Arlette Evita Grao spills the beans…

She's walked the ramp for Little Shilpa, Urvashi Joneja and Aartivijay Gupta at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2016.

A beach-bum, Arlette Evita Grao loved the Shivan and Narresh show -- the duo is known for their fun beach and holiday wear.

Quiz her about her diet and how she manages to stay so fit and this is what she says: "I don't think that I'm the fittest person around. But I try watching what I eat. I feel hungry every 2 to 3 hours!

"Staying in shape means I constantly need to watch my portions too!

"And then there is a lot of physical activity. I try to keep active at least with a workout, running or cycling."

"Every time I am on the ramp it is a new high; I get an adrenaline rush. It actually takes a lot out of me. Sometimes I feel drained when I am done with the show. I'm so low on energy because I give so much on the ramp.

"During fashion weeks, I am constantly feeding myself with fruits, dry-fruits, biscuits. I think as a model you need to constantly feed yourself if you need to have that energy on stage. And it is very important to stay hydrated all the time. Thankfully for me, my body reminds me that I am hungry and it's time to feed myself."

An outdoor person, she loves to party. "But I don't have any style mantra," she admits candidly, "it's about how I feel in the morning. Something in my wardrobe catches my eye, I put it on.

"For me, comfort comes first. And then I also need to keep the weather situation in Mumbai in mind. So I prefer something airy and comfortable."

She may not be a huge cricket buff, but she is definitely looking forward to the Indian Premier League.

"I'm looking forward to it and my favourite team is Mumbai Indians; that's me being true to my city."
