The Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016 just got over.

And we have a dozen of hot trends you need to stock in your wardrobe right away.

1. Colour me BLACK

IMAGE: When in doubt, wear black. That's what was on the mind of most designers at LFW.
From emerging to established designers, they all played with black to create snazzy ensembles.
Which one of these do you like? (left) New designer Esha Amiin's tutu frock, (centre) designer-duo Shantanu and Nikhil's embroidered off-shoulder jumpsuit with a red jacket, or (right) master couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee's embellished maxi?

Boys can take inspiration from Ajay Kumar's printed jacket with wide lapels over a front cowl kurta, high waist trousers and a wrap shirt, and girls take a cue from (right) model Ritu Chauhan who donned a fully embroidered pantsuit from Architha Narayanam's collection.
