This phone, with all the features of a flagship phone, arrived in India at the end of the year.

It offers the combination of sleek design and top hardware. It also follows the same design as the earlier LG G6, which set the standard of the 18:9 aspect ratio.

It is also nature shielded.


Samsung Galaxy S8

Samsung Galaxy S8 is probably the best-looking phone of the year with it edge-to-edge curved OLED screen, no physical button in front and just a thin bezel on top and bottom.

The flagship phone also comes with top components inside, a beautiful camera and all the sensors you can desire for ₹54,000.


LG Signature Wallpaper TV

The LG Wallpaper series turned the television into a mere 4 mm thick screen. All the components rest in the separate soundbar, giving your decor a futuristic look.

The TV also has the smart features and Dolby sound that is are the industry standard for high-end LED TVs.

As the technology is new, the starting model costs a whopping ₹12,99,990, but the price will soon come down.


GoPro HERO5 Session

The GoPro HERO5 Session action camera will certainly invoke the inner adventurer in you.

GoPro is known for its adventure and sports devices and this one is ruggedly built and waterproof. It can be bought at ₹13,000.


Motorola G5s Plus

As the mobile phone evolves so does the scope of mobile photography.

Many mobile brands have embraced the dual camera setup, but Motorola G5s Plus not only brings a dual camera at a budget price of ₹14,000, but also packs in space and memory.

The only near competitor, at ₹1,000 less, is Xiaomi's Mi A1; it gives a better music experience as it has an onboard dedicated amplifier.

At the advent of Internet Of Things (IOT), many brands focused on building smart devices. Amazon Echo Dot was built not as just as personal assistant, but also to help you communicate with these smart devices wirelessly.

It can even turn your old dumb music/home theatre system to a wireless audio streaming device, provided you have audio IN.

The Google Home Mini works the same way, but yet to land Indian shores.

You can own the Amazon Echo Dot for just ₹3,149.

Like everything these days, the TV technology is also changing rapidly. However, it is not the most practical thing to change a TV as often as we change a smartphone.

The Amazon Fire TV stick addresses this issue with its voice search enabled video streamer. Plug it into your exiting TV's HDMI port and you are ready to go.

This device comes at ₹3,999.


Google Pixel 2

Google's latest flagship is more focussed on AI and machine learning, when all other major brands are building their tech around dual cameras.

So far, Google has been about having only one camera and giving the same functionality for photography using AI and machine learning.

The phone available in two variants -- Google Pixel2 and Google Pixel2 XL -- and is packed with the top hardware and features for ₹58,999 and ₹63,999, respectively.


Apple iPhone X

This was probably the most talked about smartphone of the year.

The front of the phone is a complete screen with just a notch at the top for important sensors. The iPhone X also included new advancements in phone technology with AI.

Owning one, however, is an expensive affair; it is priced at ₹89,000 for the 64GB variant.
