Edible bouquets are the latest wedding trend.
It all started when Italian pizza restaurant Villa Italian Kitchen announced if people would be interested in swapping flowers for slices of pizza on their wedding.
On June 4, the restaurant introduced the idea to the world.
'We're excited to launch the world’s first Pizza Bouquet & Boutonniere giveaway,' it wrote on its Instagram page.
The contest involved sharing details of the bride and groom-to-be for whom you'd like to gift a pizza bouquet.
While this restaurant can take the credit for bringing pizza into the picture, edible bouquets have been popular for quite some time now.
And if you think the idea is crazy or wild for a wedding, it isn't the first time anyone had swapped flowers for food at their wedding.
Australian bride Paige Burgess surprised everyone when she carried a donut bouquet for her wedding. And so did her bridesmaids.
'Everyone thought it was hilarious, and the venue couldn't believe it,' Burgess told BBC.
Now how cool is that!
Wouldn't you like to have an edible bouquet for your own wedding?
