Maharashtra HSC results: 91.26% pass in the state

This year too, a higher number of girls cleared the Maharashtra State Board Class 12 examination. Read on for details.

Maharashtra HSC class 12 results declared today, May 27 at 1 pmThe Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Pune announced the HSC class 12 board examination results today, May 27 at 1 pm.

The overall pass percentage in the state is 91.26 per cent this year.

Nearly 12,30,000 students appeared for the Maharashtra State Board class 12 examination in the state across nine divisional boards of which 11,29,000 cleared the examination today.

This year too, the Konkan Divisional Board topped the results with a pass percentage of 95.68 percent.

The pass percentages in science (95.72) and commerce (91.60) streams is higher than that of arts (86.31) and vocational (89.20) streams.

Like every year, this year too girls performed better than the boys -- 94.29 per cent girls and 88.80 percent boys cleared the class 12 board examination in Maharashtra.

Students can access their results by logging on to www.rediff.com/exams

In the dropdown menu, select 'Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune -- 411004, HSC Examination, March 2015' and enter your details to get your result.

Students can download and print their scores online.

The marksheets will be made available to students at their respective colleges on June 4, 2015, 3 pm onwards.

Students who wish to apply for revaluation can do so between June 4 and June 15 at the division board office.
