The IIT-Joint Entrance Examination is a crucial test for admission into the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology, National Institutes of Technology and centre-funded technical institutions.
The results of JEE (Mains) will be announced today, April 27, 2016.
Approximately 12 lakh students appeared for the Main exam this year.
Those who crack it will get to appear for JEE (Advanced), the next level of the exam which is scheduled to be held on May 22, 2016.
Students can check their JEE (Mains) results on the official sites -- cbseresults.nic.in or jeemain.nic.in.
To get the result, candidates will have to click on the link 'JEE Main 2016 Results' and enter the application number, date of birth and name.
After you click on submit, your results will be displayed.
Students will have to take a print out and save the copy of the results.
