What
Internshala, the internship and trainings platform is inviting applications for its annual scholarship -- Internshala Career Scholarship for Girls (ICSG - 2019).
The scholarship is meant to help advance one girl’s career in her chosen field.
The scholarship was instituted in 2012 to recognise a girl who has fought against odds to pursue a career of her dreams in any field (Academics, Sports, and Arts, etc).
On December 29, Nirbhaya's struggle for life ended on the same day that Internshala celebrated its anniversary.
The scholarship is a one-time reward of INR 25,000 and is meant to advance the girl's career in some way -- be it an allowance for pursuing an internship or undertaking a project in the chosen field, payment towards a specialised training program, special equipment, etc.
Who can apply
Any Indian girl between the age group of 17 and 23 , born between 1st January 1995 and 31st December 2001, with a career objective can apply for the scholarship.

Important dates
The last date to apply for ICSG is January 15, 2019.
