1. TVS XL 100

2. 2015 Bajaj CT 100
The most affordable 100cc commuter just got a revised styling this year with the introduction of some new features.
The new Bajaj CT 100 now comes with new attractive graphics, Spring-in-Spring suspension (SNS) at the rear and stylish alloy wheels (optional). The bike gets a 99.27cc, four-stroke engine that is linked to a four-speed gearbox.
The fuel-efficient motor delivers a maximum 8.1bhp along with peak torque of 8.05Nm.
The CT 100 is priced teasingly at Rs 35,034 for the standard version and Rs 38,034 for the alloy wheel version (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
3. TVS Sport
The company introduced the improved version of its popular and stylish 100cc commuter back in September. The bike is powered by a 99.77cc, four-stroke engine that generates 7.1bhp of power and 7.8Nm of torque and claims an improved mileage of 95kmpl.
TVS Sport has been integrated with an all-gear electric start, attractive graphics and robust black alloy wheels that make it a tough competition in the country's 100cc motorcycle segment. The bike will cost you Rs 36,880 for the standard variant and comes in five eye-catchy shades: red, black, white, blue and mercury grey.
4. Bajaj Platina 100 ES
Priced at Rs 43,241 onwards, the more stylish sibling of CT 100 was launched in January this year with the name Platina 100 ES. The motorcycle claims to offer a whopping fuel economy of 96.9kmpl that brings it to the podium of best fuel-efficient two-wheelers in the country.
Powered by a 102cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine that generates 8.1bhp of power and 8.6Nm of torque, the restyled Platina has been released with new graphics and a body coloured visor that never fails to impress.
Furthermore, electric start is also offered as an optional feature that gives convenience to the buyer with other convenience elements such as SNS suspension and a zero maintenance battery.
5. Hero Splendor Pro Facelift
The best-selling Indian motorcycle incremented its value further with the introduction of a premium model. The 2015 Splendor Pro has been bestowed with an all-new front end, body coloured rear view mirrors, new graphics and clear lens turn indicators that grab the attention at an instance.
Besides, the bike receives a side stand indicator in the instrument cluster and alloy wheels as extra benefits. The machine is powered by a 97.2cc, four-stroke engine that churns out 8.2bhp of power and 8.05Nm of torque.
Hero has priced the bike quite competitively at Rs 46,850 (ex-showroom, Delhi) to maintain its charm in the vast Indian two-wheeler market.
6. Hero MotoCorp Duet
After a long time, Hero has given the Indian scooter lovers some reason to cheer with the introduction of its metal-bodied Duet that comes with a stylish and trendy body design.
The two-wheeler is powered by a 110cc, 4-stroke engine, that produces a maximum power of 8.31bhp at 8,000rpm with a peak torque of 8.3Nm at 6,500rpm. Other features include an external fuel fill, telescopic front suspension, mobile charging port, digital analog meter console and boot light.
Priced at Rs 48,400 onwards (ex-showroom, Bangalore), the Duet is presently one of the most worthy scooter offerings that promise a total value for money.
7. TVS Star City+ Special Gold Edition
The Hosur-based manufacturer launched the special edition of Star City+ on the occasion of the bike's first year anniversary. As the name suggests, the premium commuter has been renovated with golden graphics stickered all over on a white coloured body.
Also, a special edition badge has been glued on the visor and the side panels receive an impressive beige colour treatment. The bike also gets an under seat USB charging port and is available at a price of Rs 48,934 (ex-showroom, Delhi) across the dealerships.
