These motorcycles, likely to be launched in the Indian market this year, generate 200hp of power, making them one of the most powerful bikes in the world.
Some of the finest auto majors across the world presented their new supersport machines with extra ordinary power output of around 200hp at the 2014 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. These machines which created a new segment in the auto industry -- 200hp supersport motorcycles -- will enter the Indian market in 2015.
Let's take a brief introduction of the 200hp machines coming to India.
2015 Yamaha YZF-R1

The 2015 version of one of the most popular litre-class machine -- Yamaha R1 is also expected to be launched in India this year. The all-new machine is inspired by the MotoGP bike -- YZR-M1 -- which can be seen in its improved aerodynamic design.
The bike gets a new 998cc liquid-cooled, inline-four engine, designed using the company's conventional crossplane technology. The engine makes 197.3hp of maximum power at 13,500rpm along with a peak torque of 112.4Nm at 11,500rpm to propel the 199 kg weighing motorcycle.
Bolted on a new short wheelbase aluminium Deltabox frame, it offers excellent handling on the tracks and provides a 3D control-ability using a 6-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) with Gyro/G sensors.
The 2015 Yamaha R1 features a fully adjustable KYB suspension set-up, Unified Brake System with banking sensitive racing ABS, banking sensitive traction control, launch control, slide control and front lift control.
Kawasaki Ninja H2

Kawasaki Ninja H2, the world's first superchaged production motorcycle is about to launch in India by March 2015. The company has already started bookings of the bike at an advance amount of Rs 10 lakh; the Kawasaki Ninja H2 will cost around Rs 32 lakh. It is based on the world's most powerful production motorcycle -- Ninja H2R -- which is a track only machine having 296hp of maximum power output.
However, the Ninja H2 also gets some extra features and lesser power output to become road-legal.
Using the same 999cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four supercharged engine, the bike delivers 207hp and 197hp without the RAM air. It is also one of the most advanced motorcycles on the planet with features like fully adjustable KYB suspension set-up, Ohlins electronic steering damper, MotoGP inspired Dog-Ring transmission, high performance Brembo brakes, star-pattern cast aluminum 5-spoke wheels for optimal rigidity, 3-mode traction control (KTRC), launch control (KLCM), engine brake control (KEBC), intelligent anti-lock brake system (KIBS) and quick shifter (KQS).
Ducati 1299 Panigale

The new Ducati 1299 Panigale is going to replace the 1199 Panigale in almost every country including India in 2015. Aesthetically, the new bike looks identical to its predecessor. However, the Ducati 1299 Panigale gets an upgraded Superquadro, 1,285cc, L-Twin motor for better performance.
The new engine has been tuned to deliver 205hp of maximum power at 10,500rpm and a top torque of 144.6Nm at 8,750rpm. The engine has been mated to a six-speed transmission via self-servo clutch, and the transmission is also assisted by DQS (Ducati Quick Shift) for super smooth shifting.
Apart from the styling, it also retains the perfectly designed monocoque chassis and most of the equipment of its predecessor. The bike receives the latest Ducati electronic safety pack including Bosch 9.1 MP ABS, latest Ducati Data Analyzer (DDA+), Ducati Traction Control (DTC), engine braking control (EBC) and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC).
2015 BMW S1000RR

The 2015 BMW S1000RR gets a revised frame geometry for better handling and stability. Although, it looks almost identical to the previous version, there are lots of aesthetic changes in the design and it weighs 4.08 kg lesser now.
When you look at the headlight of the bike, it is the mirror image of the same asymmetric design. Other changes can be seen in the front fairing, seat design and exhaust muffler. It retains the same 999cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine with 4 titanium valve per head.
However, now it has been tuned to make 6hp extra, delivering a maximum power of 199hp at 13,500rpm and 113Nm of peak torque at 12,000rpm.
It also gets all the latest features of the company including a major update -- Dynamic Damping Control (DDC) electronic suspension, which is optional. The system can be equipped in the motorcycle only if you already have the Race Package, consisting of Dynamic Traction Control, Pro Riding Mode and cruise control.
2015 Aprilia RSV4 RR

From another Italian house, the upcoming supersport motorcycle is the 2015 Aprilia RSV4 RR. Keeping all the aesthetics of the predecessor version, it gets some minor tweaks in the headlight configuration and rear view mirrors.
However, there are lots of technical upgrades in the new machine. It continues housing the longitudinal 65 degree V-4 engine displacing 999.6cc, but now it has been tuned for a better output of 201hp of extreme power at 13,000rpm and a top torque of 115Nm at 10.500rpm.
The engine comes mated to a 6-speed cassette type gearbox which is assisted with Aprilia Quick Shift electronic system (aQS).
Along with a high performance Brembo braking system, it gets Bosch 9MP ABS, which is adjustable to 3 maps and equipped with switchable RLM (Rear wheel Lift-up Mitigation).
The bike has a fully adjustable suspension set-up and the latest aPRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) electronic safety package including Traction Control (aTC), Launch Control (aLC), Wheelie Control (aWC).
