The daughter of celebrated writer Anita Desai, Kiran is an award-winning author in her own right. Her second novel, The Inheritance of Loss, won the prestigious Man Booker Prize in 2006 and catapulted her into the same league of literary greats as her mother. Who knows, maybe dinner with her would end up with you inspiring a character in her next work!
