'My husband has a horrible temper'
September 12, 2008

RohitR asked, Hi Love Guru "I have been in relation with a women having a kid of 3 year old, i am very attracted towards her while talking, after having sex i feel very bad and think about her hubby and kid and feel like a cheater, suggest me wht to do "

Love Guru answers, You should have thought of all that before getting so carried away. The damage is done, but you can still end things once and for all. Don't let what happened repeat itself, ever. I would suggest you explain to her that you have a conscience problem and that while you both are attracted to each other, you can't let this go further. It has to stop -- now.

Ron asked, Every girl rejects me because I am ugly and also because I have a bad educational background. I am trying to get my qualifications now. But, I am financially stable and I come from a very good family. How can I approach a girl?

Love Guru answers, The more you approach, the more you'll be shot down. Stop looking at every single girl you meet as a prospective wife. If you treat the women you meet like your guy friends, they'll become comfortable around you and start liking you. Then, if you meet one particular girl who seems interested in being close to you, pursue things.

raj19 asked, i seen a girl since from 2 years after that she followed me and she talked with me and now v r gud friends now if i didnt talk with her she will cry but she hates love but i love her how shud i express my love to her

Love Guru answers, What is all this nonsense about 'hating love'? This friend of yours seems to be a drama queen. Tell her that you want to have a mature conversation without her outbursts of emotion. Say that you have feelings for her and would like to know how she feels about you, without her getting all dramatic. Tell her you expect her to behave like a grown-up, not a child.

arushi asked, **********HI LOVE GURU, I am a regular visitor to your chat.. and find ur replies very helpful... i badly need help now. I have been maried for last 5 years, and have 2.5 yrs old son. My husband is of very difficult nature.. looses his temper on any small thing and without bothering in he is public or at home and he does not behave or show any interest even to my parents or my sister. I really love him and care for him, dont just want to walk out of relationship , due to emotional reasons. plz advice how can i sort it out"

Love Guru answers, Arushi, you've been taking your husband's bullying for so long that only the threat of you walking out on him may bring him to his senses. If you've already tried talking to him about his behaviour and it has failed, the next time he loses his temper with you for a trivial matter, pack your bags, take your son and go to your parents' house. It will be difficult for you, but if he values his marriage to you he will come to you and apologise and also change his ways. If he doesn't, it means he doesn't value your marriage in the first place -- I'd suggest you move on in life. It's difficult, but not impossible.

preet asked, In 1 Month time we both have been engaged & seem to be separated. She has doubt over me on my drinking, which is very untrue. Now, her parent too seems not interested in me. What to do? I love her very much & cannot miss her on simply doubt. She has stopped talking with me.

Love Guru answers, Preet, there has to be something wrong for her to react so strongly. Maybe you think your drinking is moderate but she doesn't? Or someone told her that you drink heavily? Tell her that you expect her to trust and believe you unless she has proof why she shouldn't. Suspicious natures often result in broken relationships.

saurab asked, My wife has cheated me. Before marriage she has boyfriend and had affaisr for 3 years. After marriage also, She was talking over phone to him. Which I came to know after 9 years. What should i do now? My wife is telling that she had just time pass with his boyfriend & nothing else.Pls. suggets

Love Guru answers, Well, Saurab, has your marriage been happy these last six years? What she did before marriage has to be absolutely discounted -- it's in her past and you should accept that gracefully. But ask her why she continued to stay in contact with him after marriage and if they were just friends, why she hid it from you. Tell her that hiding things from each other and breaking trust can also break a relationship. But if you're happy with her otherwise, forgive her and tell her to tell you the whole truth about her past and accept it, so that you can make a fresh start. If you have reason to believe that she's been faithful to you the last six years, I would suggest you leave the past where it belongs. If she meant to cheat on you, I don't think she'd have cut off all contact with him.

Desperate asked, I was in luv with a gal...suddenly she decided no 4 the luv n she went away..its been more thn 15 days since v spoke..de issue is she is doin her pg nw..spendin a lot for her stdies..after 2 yrs she s tellin she might nt be ready 4 mrg n all...so she took de decision of quittin..v both know its damn difficult to stay away...dono wat to do....i even assured of takin up de issue with parents to resolve...she doesnt wanna overburden her parents immediately after her studies.. wat shall i do nw..pladvise

Love Guru answers, Look, however painful it is for you, you need to realise that your girl wants a career and not marriage right away. She's made her education and work a priority and she doesn't expect you to sit around waiting for her. If you want to be with her at all costs, you need to tell her that you won't come in the way of her career and will wait till she's ready for marriage. If you can't do that or she wants to break it off anyway, you'll just have to move on.
