Stand close to a wall if you need support. Place your hands on the wall. Lift your heels off the floor as high as possible, squeezing the calves and slowly lower. Just before you touch the heels to the floor, lift off again.
Do 16 reps, rest and repeat.
The calf raises shape up the calves and strengthen the ankles, perfect for dancing night away in high heels!
Round off your workout with some gentle stretches and a few minutes of well-deserved rest.
Do bear in mind that your bridal boot camp will only show good results when you are careful with your food habits.
Here are a few tips:
Eat five small meals in the day, breakfast being the largest and dinner the smallest.
Have your dinner three hours before bedtime.
Cut down all fried, oily and sweet foods.
Eat plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables, cereals, chicken, fish and nuts.
Tank up on water!
