Sanjay Sawant
Designer speak: Sanjay Malhotra

In his third outing in Mumbai, Sanjay gets candid about all things fashionable.

About the collection: The collection is called 'A night at the Moulin Rouge' and is inspired by the drama and spirit of joy of the city of Paris. It's sexy, glamorous and fun.

Trends to watch out for this year: Throw those kurtis away, girls! It's the year for dresses. Volume will be big this year, but fitted at the waist. When it comes to colour, chocolate, metallics, grey are in, hot pink will continue to be hot! Velvets are coming back strong too, this season.

Take on Fashion Week: The event is a great way to gain exposure, both to the media and with buyers. Even if buyers don't pick up your stuff, they know about you and what you do. So the next time, they know where to look when they need a particular style or product.
