What: The Agency for Science, Technology and Research announces the A*Star India Youth Scholarships 2008, full scholarships for four years of secondary and pre-university studies in Singapore.
Scholarships will be awarded to outstanding students for four years of studies in Singapore, leading to the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced) Level or equivalent, an international qualification widely recognised in many countries.
Secondary 3 Level studies will commence in January 2009 at selected Singapore schools for successful candidates, and scholars will sit for the GCE 'A' Level Examinations or equivalent at the end of Pre-University 2.
More than just excellent grades, individuals who want to make a difference with their zest for Science are sought.

Selection test & interviews
Short-listed candidates will be invited to sit for selection tests in General Ability, English Language and Mathematics in end August/ early September 2008.
Candidates will be further short-listed for an interview in November 2008. Both tests and interviews will be conducted in India. Please indicate your preferred test city in the Application Slip.
