What: Institute for Technology and Management in collaboration with Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra, Ranchi announces admission to research programme leading to PhD degree in management.
Applications are invited for the off-campus PhD program offered at ITM, Navi Mumbai and Chennai.
Course details:
The areas of research are: General Management, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Economics, Econometrics, Information Technology Management, etc.
Required qualification
The candidates should possess a ME/M TECH/MBA/ M Com/MSc/ MPhil/ M Pharm etc from a recognized university with 60 per cent marks.
Procedure of selection
The research scholars will be selected through written test and interview at our centers in Navi Mumbai and Chennai. The selected scholars have to undergo a preparatory programme for 6 months duration in their respective ITM campuses.
After successful completion of the preparatory programme, the candidates will be eligible to register for the PhD Degree of BIT, Meshra (Ranchi), which is one of the top Indian universities.
How to apply:
Application form may be downloaded at www.itm.edu/phd or write with a self-addressed envelope to obtain the form. The filled up form should be submitted along with photocopy of all the degree certificates, copies of published papers (if any) and a DD of Rs 1,000 drawn in favour of 'Institute for Technology and Management', payable at Mumbai. Completed applications should reach Institute for Technology & Management by 23rd June, 2008.
