This image created for the Marriott calendar 2007 was a tribute to the artists of yesteryears who depicted various services in their paintings. The image was a blend of photography and painting, giving it a very surreal feeling.
This is definitely one of my favourite images and well appreciated the world over too.
Last year it won several awards at various photography competitions (IPA in Los Angeles and PX3 in Paris, among others) and was chosen for the Best of Show 2008 (a prestigious photography exhibition). It travelled to over six countries as part of the Best of Show exhibition.
