Asmita Marwa describes herself as free-spirit, and her line -- Gaia, an awakening -- was an extension of herself.
In a collection that drew heavily from nature, the clothes were inherently ethnic in spirit and execution, deftly combing avante garde artistry, traditional workmanship and a carefull selection of fabrics.
Seen here is a full-length angarkha vibrant in its hues and print. The front was misleading with its plain bold cut, but one look at the back and immediately the designer's true art came to the fore.
