What's the right car for me?
Before getting down to the car model that you have in mind, go back a step. Analyse your needs and expectations from the car first. Few factors that can swing the decision could be the distance travelled daily, number of family members and nature of commute (off road/highway), even a factor like boot space could seal the deal for a few people.
Once you have the basic requirements down for the car, move on to choosing a specific model. Narrow down to about 2 models that you might be willing to opt for. It is necessary to keep your options open since you might not get a particular model at the best deal in a used car market. Analyse the finer features like air-conditioning, built quality, seat comfort etc after you have mulled over necessary factors like engine capacity, mileage etc.
Anish Pillai, 28, a customer-service manager says, "Being 6 ft 4 inches, leg room and back comfort took precedence over most other factors. A large number of cars in my budget were ruled out simply on account of small legroom."
