Matheran, a walk with Nature
Regular buses run between Mumbai and Neral and Dasturi.
The best way to reach Matheran is by the toy train which takes about two and a half hours to climb the 21 kms journey between Neral and Matheran.
There are plenty of lodging options available like Lords Central, The Byke, Brightlands Resort, the MTDC Holiday Resort and Verandah in the Forest.
