What: The British Council announces the inaugural International Young Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year (IYFEY) award 2008.
Eligibility:
A participant must:
- Be aged between 25 and 35
- Already work in the fashion sector
- Be entrepreneurial and have shown their ability in the promotion of the fashion business in their country, in either a commercial context, public context, or both
- Through their character, drive and abilities demonstrate their potential to be a future leader of the sector in their country
- Have English language skills equivalent to IELTS 6 - 'competent user' or above
Important date: October 5, 2007, which is the last date for submitting the application form.
Award:
~ Attend Fashion Week in London in February 2008.
~ Compete alongside 9 other national winners for the overall IYFEY to win the title and 7,500 Pounds to develop your business links in the UK.
~ Work with the British Council to develop a tailored tour of the fashion industry in the UK.
