How to pick the perfect pair

September 03, 2007
Fashion or costume earrings come in all sizes and lengths, but there are a couple of pointers to keep in mind. Mid-size earrings make your face look larger than it is, while narrow, long danglers work to make your face look slimmer. So if you have a narrow chin, opt for danglers that are broad at the bottom. If you have a broad jaw line, earrings that taper are a better bet.

While picking a pair, also consider your hairstyle for the night. If you are in the mood for some danglers, and want to show off your prize pair then tie up your hair in a messy ponytail. Or if you intend to let your hair down, choose studs or shorter earrings. Studs also look best with cropped hair. Then there are the mid-length danglers that look great with any hairstyle.
