Sterling silver is probably the most used metal for fashion jewellery. However, when it comes to earrings, there is a lot of experimentation happening. There are a whole host of option in coloured plastic beads, rhinestones, glass beads, feathers and even wood.
Shapes differ from simple metal hoops and metal pendants to a cluster of beads and drops of pearls and beads. Then you have the more imaginative designs in hearts, stars, flowers, butterflies, leaves, slippers and shapes inspired from practically everything in our everyday lives.
For a night out, anything goes. And as they are very affordable, make sure you pick up a good mix of funky new-age and traditionally shaped earrings.
