Arjun Khanna gave a whole new meaning to the term 'out of this world' with his collection for this season. The line, titled 'Peoples of the Golden Triangle', is dedicated to and draws inspiration from the Yao Tribe of the Golden Triangle (consisting of Thailand, Cambodia and the Laos highlands).
The show started off with numerous young boys who, in traditional Oriental dress sat on either side of the ramp, holding wooden bowls and chopsticks. Round paper lamps added to the ambience and out walked Arjun's muses to decidedly Oriental beats.
Inspired heavily by Oriental tradition, the collection featured a host of indigo blue fabric garments decorated with pictorial designs. Seen here is one such ensemble, which blazed down the runway with dark red detailing on a blue background -- note the Chinese collar in rich crimson.
