~ Every year, AP Moller-Maersk takes on around 500 new young talents all over the world. 500 trainees are chosen from over 85,000 applicants, of which 40,000 go through stringent tests and interviews.

1. Graduate Acceleration Programme:
This is a three-year programme in which trainee managers receive further training in leadership disciplines and coaching.
2. Emerging Leaders Programme:
A.P. Moller-Maersk is in the process of developing a new leadership training programme, to be launched in 2008, for emerging leadership talent. Besides graduates of the Entry Level Programmes and Graduate Acceleration Programme, this will also be open to emerging talents and late developers that were not previously on an Entry Level Programme, as well as people employed from outside the company.
3. Executive Acceleration Programme:

For people, typically in their early 30s and who have reached the position of section or department manager. It is a development programme which includes taking an MBA - either at IMD, London Business School or the University of Chicago. Candidates from this programme are ready to move up to just outside the Top 100 leaders in the company with a view to achieving a place among the Top 100 A.P. Moller leaders. The programme lasts three years and has an annual intake of 15-20 people.
Am I eligible?
~ Candidates selected through a series of tests, group discussions and Interviews.
~ Graduate in any stream, above 60% marks obtained and less than 24 years old, unmarried.
~ The trainees will take by position within any of the group companies of the A.P Moller Group during the two years within their base country. On successful completion of the programme, they have the opportunity to expatriate to any group company across the globe.
~ The trainee does not bear any cost for the program and is in fact paid a very competitive salary during the MISE programme.
~ The trainee gets a certificate from Maersk after successful completion of the program and becomes a MISE graduate
~ The course aims at shaping the individual both from a theoretical and a practical point of view. Job rotation is an integrated part of the two-year programme during which the trainee will hold at least 3 positions in his/her country of origin in various Maersk offices and businesses in the base country. During the two years, the trainee will receive professional training in various subjects such as economics, investment, law, communication, cross-culture and other relevant subjects in four two-week modules held in Denmark. On successful completion of the two-year programme, they have the potential opportunity to get expatriated to a position in one of the several Maersk offices and businesses worldwide, for a two year period.
