The fair in honour of a horse

Come December and the valley where the famous battle of Haldighati was fought will come alive with a festival for horses.

Haldighati in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, is known for the chivalrous deeds of the Maharana Pratap Singh and his horse Chetak.

The Haldighati Horse Fair will be held on December 5 and 6.
